Interview Materials

We prepared the following items for conducting our data engagement interviews:

• A picture of particiapnts’ previous air quality interface.
• Representative printouts of the particiapnts’ actual data
• Their interview worksheet

We also brought along various sketching supples to help particiapnts externalize their thinking:

• Pens, pencils, markers, post-its, and dot paper

Finally, presentation equipment for perforing and communicating data analysis:

• Laptop
• External monitor (and HDMI cable!)
